Rescue Chair is a uniquely designed emergency evacuation chair that enables victims to ride down the stairs safely in the event fires, medical responses, earthquakes and terrorism. The evacuation chair for stairs can be used to assist occupants of multi-story buildings who are unable to walk or navigate the stairs.

Another primary purpose of Rescue Chair™ is to utilize our patented design to ride occupants down the stairs during gas leaks, mechanical or chemical explosions in high-rise buildings, or during an extended loss of electrical power or in situations elevators cannot function. The AOK Rescue Chair™ keeps emergencies from becoming tragedies. The emergency evacuation chair for stairs is favored by emergency personnel of all type, and is suitable for virtually any able-bodied man or woman to single-handedly evacuate a helpless person to safety down flights of stairs. Depending on the person’s weight in the chair, 2 to 4 people may be needed.

Anyone can become disabled during an incident and may need to navigate stairs from a commercial office, residential apartment, hospital, school building, or from government buildings. With three different models to choose from, and a weight capacity starting at 350 lbs. up to 500 lbs., Rescue Chair™ is the perfect evacuation chair for any emergency situation.

The patented design of this emergency chair is to ride safely down the stairs during evacuation of schools, hospitals and nursing homes such as when a hurricane approaches. It is equipped with rear rubber belt threads that effortlessly ride victims down the stairs, and does not require assembly. It offers controlled descent down the stairs based upon rubber-belted treads and friction system allows for steady, regulated descent and easily pivots in a tight 3-foot circle on landings and rolls freely over most surfaces.
